Visitation / Volusia County Inmate Search
The jail allows visitation with inmates. However, before scheduling a visit, it is advisable to first conduct a Volusia County inmate search here to confirm the inmate’s physical presence at the jail. To schedule an appointment, click here or call 888-506-8407. Visitation is allowed Tuesday through Saturday at the following times:
1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
1:40 p.m. to 2:10 p.m.
2:20 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.
3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
7:10 p.m. to 7:40 p.m.
7:50 p.m. to 8:20 p.m.
8:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Visitation Rules
- Photo ID is required to visit an inmate.
- Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian for the entirety of the visit.
- Inmates are allowed one visit per day Tuesday through Saturday.
- Up to two adults and two children are permitted to visit with an inmate at a time.
- All visitors must be dressed appropriately. If jail officials deem clothing to be inappropriate, then the visitor can be asked to leave.
- Absolutely no electronic devices will be permitted into the building with visitors.
- All visits will be done virtually by video.
- Appointments must be made before 9 p.m. the night before a visitation is scheduled.

Sheriff’s Office
The Volusia County Sheriff’s office offers multiple services and programs to keep the community not only safe but also involved. Some of these services/programs include, Identity Theft Resources, Citizens on Patrol, Teen Driver Challenge, and Driver Protection Privacy Act. The Sheriff’s Office also has a helicopter aviation unit better known to the community as “Air One”. The Aviation Unit is not only used in law enforcement operations but also in medical evacuations, search and rescue, and special missions.
